High times at Home & Gift 2009

Doing well once again!

So we went to Harrogate, and despite some bad weather (and sunshine too), and a fire alarm it was quite a success for open|box|design.

We used the opportunity to launch our new Brilliant Birthdays cards and they went down very well indeed!

We received plenty of orders, and equally of importance to us we had many many enquiries. We're still relatively new to the Greetings market and it's always been key to our plan for the company that we listen to what people like and what we need to do to be even better.

This time round we changed the layout of the stand. It still had the simplicity and clarity of our stand at PG Live, but we felt that we inadvertently tucked the 'Wuff' range of cards away too much in London. This time round they were right at the front and definitely made people 'do the double take' as they walked along the isle. So our faithful hounds seem to go down just as well as the extended 'Brilliant Birthdays' range. Speaking of which many people who ordered the original set of 12 Brilliant Birthdays cards have now ordered the remaining 6.

When we write these news items I sometimes feel that we focus on all the things that are new - new ranges, new customers, new offers etc., but I should mention that one of the biggest joys of being at Harrogate were the number of people who made a point of saying hello who we met in London. We appreciate that you have taken time to come back to us and on several occasions placed orders with us. Thank you.
